The History of Wheeling is a semester long class that examines the evolution of Wheeling, West Virginia from its earliest occupation to present day. Through discussion, research, and historical fieldwork students will engage in learning about the history of their community. Students will use their knowledge of history, geography, and economics to analyze and evaluate Wheeling’s role in the history of the United States.
